Containment Components
These lightweight radio receivers worn by the dog identify the coded FM radio signal from the boundary wire. They create an audible warning followed by stimulation if he comes too close to the wire. They operate on replaceable lithium batteries and are waterproof when the battery cap is securely fastened.
The R7 receiver is particularly light and is small enough to be worn by a cat, making DogWatch a versatile containment system for small animals as well as the largest dog.
The patented FM digital design, SafeLink ®, allows the DogWatch receiver to recognize and activate only to our unique radio signal. This protects the dog from unintentional correction caused by stray radio signals which may be emitted by other electronic devices or machinery.
The R7 and R8 collars can be supplied in 4kHz mode when required.
The R7 and R8 collar receivers have eight levels of correction that can be programmed to suit any dog (or cat). The levels are:
The patented AutoMemoryTM feature automatically adjusts the correction level of the receiver when the dog challenges the boundary. The feature operates when the correction level is set to 4, 5, or 6. The collar reverts to the original setting after 24 hours.
The patented Fast ReactTM time offers the fastest reaction of any containment system on the market.
There is an automatic shutdown feature that turns the stimulation off if the dog remains within the zone for more than 15 seconds.
The omni-directional antennae built into the receiver assures optimal reception from the signal field, even in the corners of the section.
The status light on the collar flashes green once every thirty seconds to indicate that the receiver is alive and provides information on battery life (flashes red every 10 seconds when the battery is low), training level, signal field and correction alert (a double flash every thirty seconds if the dog has challenged the boundary within the previous 24 hours).
The R7 and R8 collar receivers can operate with any DogWatch transmitter.
