System 1200 Transmitter

The transmitter sends a coded digital FM radio signal through the boundary wire. This signal can be adjusted in terms of range (operating distance from the boundary wire) and cycles per second. The coding incorporates both audible warning and static correction.

There is a ground wire from the transmitter to the power supply to protect the transmitter from power surges.

The range can be adjusted from half a metre to 3 metres on either side of the boundary wire (total 6 metres).

The System 1200 Transmitter can send the signal through 1000metres of cable protecting approximately 6Ha.

The signal is transmitted in 8 kHz or 4 kHz and in either FM Digital or AM so interference from neighbouring systems or stray signals is minimized.

The system is protected from the effects of nearby lightning strikes by an external grounded surge protector.

If there is a wire break there will be an audible warning.

The system can operate with any DogWatch collar receivers and any number of collar receivers to contain as many pets as required.
