How does the Hidden Fence electronic dog fence work?
To set up an electric dog fence, a patented Safelink FM digitally coded radio signal will be transmitted through a boundary wire installed around your property. This may be below ground level, attached to an existing fence or laid in protective conduit through gardens and driveways. Your pet will also wear a lightweight, waterproof receiver collar that will pick up this harmless signal.
The system is then activated with behavioural training that guarantees your pet stays safe at your home. When your pet gets close to your dedicated boundary, an audible warning tone is heard that reminds the pet not to cross. If this is ignored, a rare occurrence, the collar emits a harmless static correction that is tailored to your pet's personality. Any number of dogs, cats or mixture of animals can be contained in the one system. Each pet will have its own personalised collar set at the level required for that animal.
The boundary you choose will be customised to your specific requirements and to the constraints of the property. This allows you to keep your pets out of areas such as pools or gardens.
