Collartron Warranty

  • Collartron Systems Ltd will in New Zealand, to the original purchaser, honour the maker's warrantees on any units that Collartron Systems Ltd have supplied.

  • Collartron Systems Ltd will attempt to diagnose the problem and advise the customer of remedial action to be taken by the customer in the use or care of the unit in the field.

  • The customer must notify Collartron Systems Ltd as soon as practicable after a possible fault has been noticed.

  • At no time should the customer attempt any electronic or other repairs to the unit, as this will void the maker's warranty.

  • If recommended field actions do not remedy the problem the unit should be returned to Collartron Systems Ltd by the most practicable means. Generally this will be through the NZ Post Ltd system to 1054 Main North Road North, R D 1, Katikati.
    Collartron Systems Ltd recommend the Courier Post or Parcel Post systems provided by NZ Post Ltd.

  • The cost of return to Collartron Systems Ltd is the responsibility of the customer.

  • All components of the system, except for any dummy collars, must be returned.

  • The owner should produce a copy of the original purchase invoice or other documentation.

  • Collartron Systems Ltd will determine if the unit will be repaired, replaced with a reconditioned unit of about the same age or replaced with new.

  • Collartron Systems Ltd will return the repaired or replaced unit per NZ Post, Parcel Post.

  • Collartron Systems Ltd will meet the cost of return.

  • The cost of the return by the Customer to Collartron Systems Ltd of any loan/swap unit will be the responsibility of the Customer.

  • The warranty on any repaired or replaced unit will run from the date of original purchase.
