Collartron dates to the 1980s when founder Jack Dawson became interested in how to use shock collars to train dogs and began the Collartron business. Since then the business has expanded and changed into his daughter Jill and husband Max's hands.

We have tried, and marketed, many of the products available elsewhere. We have discarded them because they do not meet our policy: they mostly fail the reliability test and are generally not able to be serviced in New Zealand.

Back up service for all repairs
You are also provided an excellent service for all repairs and faults with the system you purchase. Any repairs covered under the manufacturer warranty will be shipped to the manufacturer to advise them of the fault, and all other repairs can be undertaken in Dannevirke by Brownings Electronic Services. We have worked with Keith Browning for the last 20 years.
